PAST WORKSHOPS

Manuel Betanzos - Seville
Triana Flamenco Dance Studio in association with Alma Flamenca, Casa de Flamenca and Studio Flamenco, held workshops with Manuel Betanzos from 26 May to 29 May at the Goodwood Institute. Manuel was brought here by courtesy of the Instituto de la Danza Espanola. The workshops were a huge success with Manuel an excellent teacher.

The Triana Flamenco Dance Studio, after nearly 10 years has moved out of its Brompton studio and now teaches in a variety of studios to offer classes to a larger range of students.

Term 2 – Artist In Residence Program – Pembroke School

Term 2 – Artist in Residence Program – Pembroke School
For the fourth year in a row, Veronica Vargas will be the Artist in Residence for flamenco dance at Pembroke School during the second term. This year classes are held for Year 3 students and will finish with a Spanish Fiesta where students will dance to the accompaniment of a guitarist and gypsy flamenco singer el Titi de Algeciras.

FLAMENCO DANCE IN SCHOOLS

Triana Flamenco Dance Studio offers a ‘Dance in Schools’ Program from primary to high school. This can be as brief as short performance/workshops to longer term tuition culminating in a performance. Our teachers are highly experienced in working with students of all ages. Each program is designed to meet the needs of each school.
Triana Flamenco’s s work to date has covered regional and city schools and colleges including Pembroke College.
