TUITION

TRIANA is the name of the famous gypsy district of Seville in the south of Spain - and the home of the legendary "Carmen".

VERONICA VARGAS - Director
over 25 years of international performing and teaching experience.

Founded in 1995, the Studio specializes in Flamenco Dance which greatly enhances rhythm, posture and style, and also offers an International Spanish Dance Syllabus Course.

Flamenco dance has been an obsession with Triana's founder, Veronica Vargas for most of her life and through the Studio, she passes on the huge array of skills and artistry that she has accumulated over the years.

The philosophy of the Studio is to provide high quality and caring dance tuition and to foster an understanding of love of Flamenco and Spanish dance to its students.

For gifted students, they have the opportunity to audition and train with national professional dance companies such as Danza Viva in Perth.

For those that do it just for love and enjoyment, there is the opportunity to participate in Spanish community festivities and small performances.

young studentsExperienced, caring teachers, trained by Ms Vargas, give tuition in a non-competitive atmosphere.

For authenticity, Guitarist and Singer accompany suitable classes.

Workshops held with visiting national and international artists together with regular trips to Spain keep the Studio abreast of the latest developments in the art as well as exposing students to different trends and teaching styles.

Performances held during the year to give students confidence and performing experience.
